Refund policy
Effective 20 August 2026
This policy explains when Admitix refunds ticket purchases. It applies to electronic tickets bought on https://admitix.band.nz. It does not limit rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
How tickets are delivered
Tickets are digital. After Stripe confirms payment, we email QR codes to the address you give at checkout, usually within a few minutes. There is no shipping and no physical return.
Cancelled events
If an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, we refund the amount you paid (ticket face value, booking fee, and the card-processing amount charged) to the original payment method.
Postponed or moved events
If the event is postponed or moved to a new date or venue, your tickets usually remain valid. If you cannot attend the new date or venue, email us before the new start time and we will refund the amount you paid.
Change of mind
Tickets are generally not refundable if you change your mind, cannot attend, buy the wrong quantity, or miss the event. An event page may state a more specific promoter policy; that policy applies in addition to this one, but it cannot reduce your Consumer Guarantees Act rights.
Errors, duplicates, and problems we cause
Email us if you are charged twice, do not receive tickets after a successful payment, or the listing was wrong in a way that matters (for example the wrong date or venue). We will fix it or refund you.
How to request a refund
- Email hello@admitix.band.nz.
- Include your name, order number, event name, and the reason.
- We aim to reply within two New Zealand business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. Banks often take 5–10 business days to show the credit.
Chargebacks
If something is wrong, contact us first so we can refund or replace tickets quickly. A bank dispute can delay both of us. See also the terms of sale and contact page.
